Job Summary

Brown and Caldwell is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our Nashville office to support our water and wastewater business and client connections. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with Area Leaders, Project Managers, Technical Service Leaders, Client Service Managers, and the Marketing Manager to maintain and develop client relationships, connect BC solutions to client needs, lead project teams in quality project delivery, and guide procurement stages leading to new opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multi-disciplinary resources to deliver projects on schedule and budget and according to client critical success factors.
  • Lead project teams in planning and/or designing major engineering projects and coordinate special planning, economic, and engineering studies.
  • Provide consultation in specialized areas, make decisions, and solve problems.
  • Prepare and make presentations to clients for professional meetings.
  • Successfully manage and deliver projects on time and on budget while meeting or exceeding client expectations.
Requirements
  • B.S. degree in a related engineering field (Civil, Environmental, etc.) required; M.S. degree in a related engineering field with a focus on wastewater and water services preferred.
  • Professional Engineer registration in the State of Tennessee or ability to obtain via reciprocity within six months.
  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in consulting and engineering services in the environmental sector with progressive responsibilities including project delivery especially for water and wastewater municipal clients.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification as defined by the Project Management Institute (PMI) preferred but not required.
