Job Title: Senior Water Resources Engineer / Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Water Resources Engineer / Project Manager to join our team at Trilon Group. As a key member of our water resources team, you will be responsible for leading the design of drinking water distribution and/or wastewater collection systems, as well as assisting in designing wastewater and water treatment plants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design of drinking water distribution and/or wastewater collection systems and assist in designing wastewater and water treatment plants.
  • Assess the need for drinking water and/or wastewater treatment systems based on current and projected future population and/or development demands; conduct feasibility studies for the construction of public utility infrastructure to meet identified needs.
  • Analyze, or assist with analysis of, various water and/or wastewater treatment technologies, and recommend the most effective method.
  • Design and develop specifications for assigned projects.
  • Conduct feasibility and related studies regarding the collection, treatment, or distribution of water or wastewater, and prepare written technical reports.
  • Provide clients with technical support and subject matter expertise on water resources related issues.
  • Conduct appropriate cost-benefit analyses for assigned projects.
  • Align with marketing team on RFQs, presentations, and scoping projects.
  • Train and mentor junior engineers.
Requirements:
  • BS or MS in Civil Engineering or closely related field.
  • Registration as a licensed Professional Engineer.
  • Strongly preferred experience designing water and/or wastewater treatment plants, in part or in whole.
  • 10+ years of experience in public infrastructure projects related to Water Resources field.
  • Completing projects in multiple states is required.
  • Project and / or Client Management experience is required.
  • Ability to guide junior staff as well as participate in the design and detailing of all aspects of small- to large-scale multi-discipline water/wastewater projects of varying technical complexity.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and time management skills.
  • Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client needs and deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented team player with an ability to contribute to a positive work environment.
