Event Sales Professional

We're seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Event Sales Professional to join our team at The Texas Rangers. As an Event Sales Professional, you will be responsible for maximizing revenue opportunities in the special events category by driving sales leads, advancing event contracts, and managing long-term relationships with event clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Self-generate new sales opportunities by prospecting, cold-calling, inbound lead follow-up, and emails.
  • Oversee the customer sales experience from initial event discussions, event negotiations, and event execution.
  • Work with our operations team to develop accurate event cost estimates prior to execution of event contract.
  • Ensure billing accuracy and conduct reviews with the client prior to processing the final bill.
  • Coordinate food and beverage discussions, menu tastings, and delivery of F&B experience alongside our catering team.
  • Coordinate and communicate with customers regarding event details prior to execution of the license agreement.
  • Follow up with customers post-event.
  • Maintain a strong presence with customers at all times during this process.
  • Stay available to solve problems and/or suggest alternatives to previous arrangements.
  • Identify operational challenges associated with clients and work with our team to solve challenges and/or develop alternative solutions.
  • Conduct pre- and post-event meetings as required to review/communicate group needs and feedback.
  • Solicit feedback from our departments to identify areas for improvement to enhance the customer's experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Business, Sports Management, Marketing, or related field.
  • 5 years of sales or related experience preferred.
