Job Opportunity:

Salem Media Group is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Media Sales Professional to join our growing on-air and digital sales team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for selling and managing our multi-media marketing solutions, including radio, digital, and event sales, to local small and medium-sized businesses.

Key Responsibilities:
Prospect for local and regional businesses, reaching decision-makers and setting meetings to analyze client needs and create compelling advertising presentations. Stay current on local digital marketing trends and opportunities, and develop strategic marketing proposals for key accounts and new business decision-makers. Accurately project revenues, meet and exceed monthly budgets for all product lines, and exceed annual budgets.

Requirements:
A proven track record of exceeding sales goals in on-air and online media, with a demonstrated understanding of digital products and their positioning in the marketplace. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present multi-varied solutions to groups of people. Proven ability to develop business marketing strategies for local and regional clients, and maintain a professional appearance and demeanor. Proficiency in Microsoft business software and ability to quickly learn new software applications for prospecting and market insights.
