Service Operations Assistant

The successful candidate will be responsible for office support tasks including answering phones, filing, mail, and scanning; ordering and maintaining supplies; creating and issuing purchase orders; processing and coding branch invoices; managing cash drawer; liaising for branch to Harrisburg Administrative offices for IT and HR; compiling and submitting payroll weekly to Administrative offices; cross-training and covering administrative tasks for Truck Sales & Service as needed.

In addition, the Service Writer will provide exceptional customer service by answering service calls and writing service orders; compiling reports for service management; creating and maintaining paperwork and record-keeping; creating work orders for shop and field service jobs; tracking and scheduling service truck state inspections; entering service time and notes for CE techs to work orders; filing quarterly service truck inspection reports completed by techs; processing, coding, filing, tracking, and following up on all vendor warranty claims; following through on work orders until complete for parts, notes, customer requests, warranty requirements, and service time; invoicing service jobs to finished goods equipment and customers; maintaining equipment history files; reviewing, closing, and invoicing work orders; scanning all job invoices, notes, and photos into job folders; and tracking and scheduling jobs for shop (Sales and Outside Customer Base).
