Job Summary:
Cube Management is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Area Sales Representative to join our team. As a Sales Representative for the Food and Beverage industry, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with key accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Execute Sales Strategies: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve top-line sales and profit goals, targeting independent and corporate food service, restaurants, specialty stores, and c-stores throughout the assigned area.
- Build and Maintain Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, including food brokers and distributors, to drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
- Identify New Business Opportunities: Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to pursue them, including developing presentations, execution plans, and promotional activities.
- Work with Regional Brokers: Work with targeted Regional Brokers to outline sales objectives and priorities per account to continue to drive revenue.
Requirements:
- 3-5 Years of Sales Experience: 3-5 years of sales experience within the food industry, with a proven track record of success in targeting food service, specialty, c-store, and independent accounts.
- Understanding of Sales Process: Understanding of the sales process and dynamics, including the ability to develop and execute sales strategies, build and maintain relationships, and identify new business opportunities.
- Disciplined Self-Starter: A disciplined self-starter with a hunter and entrepreneurial mindset, able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Food Broker and Distributor Experience: Experience working with food brokers and distributors, including developing and executing sales strategies and building relationships.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel and customer relationship management (CRM) software, with a strong understanding of sales analytics and data-driven decision making.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with customers and distributors.
- Travel Requirements: Approximately 50%+ travel required within the region.
Benefits:
- Base Salary: $75,000 - $95,000 per year, plus paid quarterly bonus based on achieved KPIs.
- Total Earnings: $130,000 - $150,000 per year.
- Benefits Package: Comprehensive benefits package, including company health plan, 401(k) with 3% match, cellphone, laptop, car allowance, and vacation time.
