About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Transportation Project Engineer to join our team at Weston & Sampson. The successful candidate will have a strong background in roadway and highway design, with a focus on delivering projects that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop transportation projects, including roadway geometry and plans, estimates, technical specifications, and reports
  • Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, including regular communication and meeting attendance
  • Mentor and assist junior engineers in their professional development
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, including attending conferences and workshops
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Licensed Professional Engineer in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, or Connecticut (or ability to obtain licensure within 6 months)
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, with experience in MicroStation OpenRoads and HydroCAD/StormCAD an asset
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent organization and time management abilities
  • Valid driver's license
