Cloud Native Software Project Manager

We are seeking an ambitious, self-motivated professional to join our growing team at DEKA Research & Development.
Based in the historic Amoskeag Millyard, this position will coordinate the activities of a software development team, working with product owners to create development plans and ensure the development process enables rapid delivery of custom solutions with high quality.
As a Cloud Native Software Project Manager - Scalable Solutions Specialist, you will be responsible for breaking down the project roadmap into milestones, epics, and stories, maintaining prioritized backlogs as projects evolve. You will also coordinate activities with other cross-functional teams, ensuring projects meet milestones and quality measures in a timely manner by quickly identifying and removing roadblocks.
Key qualifications include:
- A bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of experience in technical project leadership
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with cloud-native development (backend or full stack) and a solid understanding of distributed design for scalable solutions
- Outstanding communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skills
- Knowledge of agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban), understanding of software development life cycle models, and traditional project management principles and practices
- Adept at refinement, story splitting, estimation, velocity, retrospection, and other Scrum techniques
With a competitive salary range of $90,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience, and a unique opportunity to work on innovative projects, we invite qualified professionals to apply.
