Job Summary:
A professional medical coder is needed to join the Slocum-Dickson Medical Group, PLLC team. This role involves accurate coding and billing of provider office, inpatient and outpatient charges to ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of CPT Procedural Coding, ICD-10 Diagnosis Coding and HCPCS Level II coding guidelines.

Responsibilities:
  1. Coding for multiple specialties and maintaining productivity as established by the department.
  2. Reviewing and submitting charges from the coding workqueues (WQ).
  3. Manually entering off-premise charges in Charge Review.
  4. Assisting the Business Office staff with certain tasks as determined by the Business Office Director and Coding and Compliance Manager.
  5. Maintaining a high level of accuracy and adhering to policies and procedures.

The estimated salary for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. This is an on-site only position, requiring attendance at our offices in New York.
