Join Our Team as a Director of Medical Coding:
TAL Healthcare is a leading provider of full-service Healthcare Recruitment solutions. We are seeking an experienced Director of Medical Coding to join our team. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of medical coding operations, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant coding for inpatient, outpatient, and specialty services.

About the Role:
This leadership position involves managing a team of coders, driving initiatives to improve coding quality and efficiency, and collaborating with stakeholders to optimize coding processes. Your expertise in regulatory requirements and payer-specific coding guidelines will be instrumental in ensuring compliance with evolving healthcare standards.

Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the medical coding team* Establish coding performance metrics and implement strategies for continuous improvement* Ensure adequate staffing levels, training, and certification requirements for coding professionals* Foster a collaborative environment between the coding team and other departments* Ensure compliance with ICD-10, CPT-4, HCPCS, and other applicable coding standards

Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management or a related field with RHIA + CCS certification* Minimum 12 years of progressive experience in medical coding, including at least 7-10 years in a leadership role* Strong critical thinking, data, financial, and analytical skills* Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills* Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and PowerPoint

Salary:
The estimated salary range for this position is $130,000 - $160,000 per year.
