About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and nurturing relationships with existing commercial business policies, conducting needs analysis with clients, and working closely with our Commercial Sales Producers to renew accounts and write new business.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and nurture relationships with existing book of commercial business policies
  • Conducting needs analysis with each client, making sure to uncover and address any gaps in coverage.
  • Working hand in hand with Commercial Sales Producers to successfully renew accounts and write new business accounts.
  • Managing commercial client accounts, contributing to the new business and retention goals of the agency, and marketing new and renewal commercial policies as needed.
  • Provide prompt, accurate and friendly service
  • Respond to inquiries regarding insurance coverage, policy changes, claims submissions, and billing verification efficiently in a timely manner
  • Become familiar with products, services and systems
  • Contribute to individual goals and agency success through promoting new business, cross-selling and new initiatives

Requirements

  • Property and Casualty insurance license (REQUIRED)
  • 4+ years experience with Commercial Lines (REQUIRED)
  • Applied EPIC management system experience preferred
  • Pass background check
  • Strong verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good operational computing skill/typing 45+ WPM (Microsoft Office Suites, Internet Browsers)
  • Confident self-starter who works well independently
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to multi-task
