As a member of our culinary team, you'll be responsible for managing the daily production, preparation, and presentation of all food for our hotel's restaurant(s) and room service. You'll also oversee the maintenance and sanitation of the kitchen, equipment, and related areas to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily production, preparation, and presentation of all food for the hotel's restaurant(s) and room service.
  • Oversee the maintenance and sanitation of the kitchen, equipment, and related areas.
  • Monitor, analyze, and control all labor and food costs.
  • Assist the Executive Chef in the creation, costing, and implementation of seasonal and special menus.

Qualifications:

We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with a strong background in culinary management. You'll need to have a minimum of two years of post-high school education and five years of employment in a related position. Hotel experience is preferred, and you'll need to have advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within the food profession.

You'll also need to have strong leadership skills to motivate and develop staff, as well as the ability to work effectively under time constraints and deadlines. Effective verbal and written communication skills are essential, and you'll need to be able to adapt your communication style to suit different audiences.
