Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Integration Support: Assist in the integration and cleansing of data from diverse sources using SQL and basic scripting, enhancing data accessibility and reporting.
  • Data Modeling Assistance: Collaborate in the development and refinement of data models while maintaining comprehensive documentation to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Best Practices Implementation: Support the adoption of best practices for data management and reporting, learning from colleagues and contributing to documentation efforts.
  • Trend Identification: Help identify data trends and insights, offering suggestions for improving data processes and reporting mechanisms.
  • Reporting Assistance: Aid in the creation and maintenance of dashboards and reports using tools such as PowerBI, ensuring clarity and usefulness for stakeholders.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, management information systems, or a related discipline.
  • 1-2 years of experience with relational database management systems like Microsoft SQL Server, Azure SQL, or Oracle.
  • Experience in dynamic environments, with a strong ability to adapt and a commitment to continuous learning.
  • Basic understanding of data analysis and reporting methodologies.
  • Ability to conduct fundamental data analysis to support data workflows.
  • Skills in data collection, cleansing, and preparation for analysis.
  • Capability to create and maintain straightforward data reports and visualizations.
  • Strong attention to detail in data management and reporting.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team setting.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present data findings clearly across various departments.
  • Adaptability to fast-paced environments with evolving requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with SQL Server and/or Python.
  • Experience with databases such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Postgres.
  • Ability to create simple data visualizations using tools like Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
  • Basic knowledge of version control systems like GitHub.
  • Familiarity with platforms such as Google Analytics, Hubspot, or Zendesk.
  • Background in healthcare data and understanding of HIPAA and PHI regulations.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position does not involve supervisory duties.

Physical and Mental Requirements:

  • Occasional movement within the office to access files and equipment.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Effective communication with others through typing.
  • Close-range vision clarity, with or without corrective lenses.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex issues simultaneously while maintaining efficiency and accuracy.
  • Professional interaction with a variety of individuals, including clients and vendors, even in challenging situations.
  • Regular attendance and punctuality are essential.
  • Independent judgment and sound decision-making skills are required.
