Our Crusoe Cloud platform offers managed cloud services powered by stranded energy, fostering climate-friendly advancements in fields like artificial intelligence, graphics rendering, and computational biology.

Role Responsibilities:

The Crusoe Support Desk is tasked with troubleshooting, configuring, and repairing servers, networks, infrastructure, data centers, SaaS applications, file shares, and other technical issues. This role collaborates with various teams and departments, as well as external vendors, to ensure a seamless user experience for all staff members. A strong emphasis on customer service, teamwork, and self-motivation is essential, along with a proactive approach to learning through our educational programs to facilitate career growth within the organization.

Daily Activities:

  • Provide onsite support for Crusoe Industries & Crusoe HQ Hybrid operations, including:
    • User support from start to finish
    • Onboarding and offboarding processes
    • Support Desk project involvement
    • Tracking project progress in JIRA
    • Managing ticketing and documentation
    • Troubleshooting end-user support issues
  • Oversee onsite servers, storage, network, and VMware management.
  • Develop and edit documentation as needed.
  • Identify, log, and resolve technical issues with applications and systems, ensuring accurate documentation of office systems, including trouble tickets and inventory.
  • Stay updated and adopt new IT support and management platforms.
  • Assist IT leadership in establishing efficient processes.
  • Procure, deploy, support, and maintain IT infrastructure.
  • This position requires onsite presence at multiple locations.
  • Travel may be necessary, up to 20% (out of state).
  • Compliance with security policies is mandatory.
  • Maintain timely communication and acknowledgments.

Ideal Candidate Attributes:

  • Experience with MDR/XDR platforms (e.g., Sophos XDR, Crowdstrike, Huntress).
  • Familiarity with Cloud Identity Management platforms, SSO, SAML 2.0, and MFA.
  • Knowledge of MDM automation (e.g., GoogleMDM, Kandji, Intune).
  • Previous experience as an engineer at an MSP.
  • Background in NOC/SOC environments is preferred.
  • Experience in large enterprises with extensive end-user bases.
  • Ability to administer MacOS and provide command line support for Macs and Linux.
  • Proficiency with mobile device management solutions, ticketing systems, and IT documentation platforms.
  • Technical expertise in Windows operating systems, including deployment and troubleshooting.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, yet knows when to seek assistance and excels in teamwork.
  • Must successfully pass a background check.
  • Alignment with company values is essential.

Compensation Range:
The salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000, with Restricted Stock Units included in all offers. Compensation will be determined based on the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and market alignment.
