Adjunct Music Instructor

Grayson College is seeking a qualified Adjunct Music Instructor - Percussion to join our team. As a member of our Fine Arts Department, you will be responsible for teaching private percussion lessons and providing academic advising to percussion students outside of class.
The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree or higher in music from an accredited college or university, with one to two years of related experience. Previous successful experience teaching piano in a high school, university, and/or community college is highly desirable.
The pay rate for this position is $40.00 per hour. The successful candidate will be expected to work as a team member in the Fine Arts Department, contributing to department assessment processes and complying with faculty responsibilities as outlined in the Faculty Handbook and the College's Policies and Procedures Manual.
Performance measurements will include demonstrating the Viking Values of balance, clarity, gratitude, service, teamwork, and trust, as well as complying with all federal and state laws and regulations relating to higher education.
