Job Summary

The Administrative Director Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the Administrative Director in managing SkyRidge's operations. This includes policy development, strategy implementation, and overseeing daily activities. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, be proficient in understanding ALF admits, and possess good writing, verbal, and observation skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Administrative Director in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing day-to-day operations of SkyRidge.
  • Participate in developing, maintaining, and periodically updating written policies and procedures.
  • Oversee nutrition services, ensuring adequate nutrition services are provided.
  • Work with the Activity Department to plan special events and collaborate activities with SkyRidge.
  • Collaborate with the Cottage Coordinator to ensure adequate staffing and housekeeping tasks are completed.
  • Participate in interviewing, hiring, coaching, and termination of staff, as well as conducting employee reviews.
  • Provide support and training to all staff, ensuring they work safely.
  • Provide oversight and meet regularly with other departments at WyndStone and SkyRidge to promote team building and discuss goals.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Prior experience in a human service or healthcare setting preferred.
  • Must hold a CNA license or complete the SJU CNA Course within 6 months from hire date.
  • Must obtain certification within 120 days of class completion.
  • Agrees to take at least 7 days of call per month and possibly more if necessary.
  • Obtains Administrator's Certificate within one year.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Knowledge of state regulations and survey process, including admit requirements.
  • Ability to coordinate and lead staff meetings with feedback from the Administrative Director and communicate outcomes to the team.
  • Ability to demonstrate servant leadership by working when coverage is needed.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities.
