Job OverviewPosition Summary

We are in search of a proficient and seasoned Senior Systems Architect to become a vital part of our innovative engineering team. The successful candidate will possess at least 5 years of expertise in systems architecture and a robust foundation in the design and integration of intricate systems. This position demands a comprehensive grasp of systems architecture principles, exceptional analytical abilities, and the capacity to collaborate effectively in a dynamic setting.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Systems Architect at Edge Autonomy, your responsibilities will include:

• Spearheading the design, development, and integration of sophisticated systems for our cutting-edge products, encompassing uncrewed aircraft systems and associated technologies.

• Working in close partnership with interdisciplinary teams, including electrical, mechanical, and software engineers, to guarantee cohesive and unified system designs.

• Formulating and overseeing system requirements, specifications, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

• Conducting comprehensive system-level design evaluations, trade studies, and risk assessments to ensure peak system performance and dependability.

• Executing system integration, verification, and validation tasks to ensure adherence to customer and regulatory standards.

• Diagnosing and resolving system-level challenges, collaborating closely with engineering and production teams to implement effective solutions.

• Offering technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, promoting a culture of ongoing improvement and innovation.

Qualifications

The following qualifications are essential but not limited to:
  • System Design and Development: Lead the design and development of intricate systems, ensuring they fulfill performance and reliability standards.
  • Requirements Management: Formulate and oversee system requirements, specifications, and documentation.
  • System Integration: Conduct system integration, verification, and validation tasks.
  • Collaboration: Partner closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive and unified system designs.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
  • Issue Resolution: Diagnose and resolve system-level challenges.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of systems engineering processes and practices.
