Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) role seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to lead the Women's Health Unit at Johnston-Willis Hospital. As a CNC, you will oversee nursing care in the 15-bed unit, mentoring staff and promoting high-quality patient outcomes.

Your Role
As Clinical Nurse Coordinator, you will:
• Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality patient care.
• Participate in ongoing assessments of quality patient care services, collaborating with management team members.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and managers to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.
• Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
• Recommend and implement courses of action related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff, including training and development, conflict resolution, and performance evaluations.
• Assist with staff scheduling, managing labor in accordance with patient care needs and productivity guidelines.
Requirements
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred). Current Registered Nurse License in Virginia or Current Multistate Compact License. 3+ years of current nursing experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred. 1 year of medical surgical and/or post-operative gynecological surgical nursing experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred. 1 year of leadership experience in a hospital setting preferred. Current American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS or BCLS) Certification.
