Job Description

This clinical position at the Virginia Commonwealth University is a great opportunity for an experienced PM&R physician to advance patient care, research, and teaching missions in a hospital setting.

Clinical Responsibilities:

  • Provide rehabilitation leadership to patients with traumatic brain injuries (TBI), concussions, stroke, and other neurological conditions.
  • Collaborate with hospital staff to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Serve on committees to provide guidance and assistance when needed.
  • Enforce hospital medical staff bylaws and regulations.

Teaching and Research:

  • Supervise residents, fellows, and students in the rehabilitation program.
  • Participate in research activities and support ongoing projects.

Service:

  • Represent the department in official meetings.
  • Contribute to professional organizations.

Required Qualifications:

  • MD or DO degree and board certification in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a diverse environment.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills.

Salary: $250,000 - $350,000 per year, commensurate with experience. This salary range is estimated based on the job description and location.
