Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Milk Delivery Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting and delivering our products to retail stores and wholesale distribution centers.

Responsibilities
  • Safely load, unload, and deliver milk products to designated accounts.
  • Transport goods along established routes to stock and stage products at customer locations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by interacting courteously with store personnel and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Verify shipment accuracy and ensure the quality of delivered products.
  • Collect empty containers, rejected merchandise, and unsold products for return.
  • Complete daily inventory reports, delivery invoices, and proof of delivery documents.
  • Conduct pre-trip inspections on trucks to comply with DOT regulations and company standards.
  • Maintain accurate vehicle and hours of service logs as required by DOT guidelines.
  • Demonstrate reliable attendance and punctuality.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Class A commercial driver's license with Air Brake endorsement and a Medical Examiner's Certificate in accordance with FMCSA Part 391.41.
  • Minimum age of 21 years old.
  • One year of verifiable experience driving a Class A commercial vehicle.
  • Experience in food/beverage product delivery and customer service is preferred.
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as needed.
Physical Demands

This position requires the ability to read, write, perform basic mathematical calculations, and accurately record data. You must be able to frequently stand, walk, kneel, reach, climb, pull, and bend. Routine lifting of over 60 pounds and pushing/pulling up to 300 pounds with a hand-held hook is necessary.

Working Conditions

You will work in various environments, including hot and cold climates, both indoors and outdoors, and on refrigerated trucks.
