Position Overview:
At Paladin Technologies Inc., our technology division is dedicated to fulfilling the physical security and audio-visual requirements of our enterprise clientele. The IT Infrastructure Specialist II will play a crucial role in the delivery and upkeep of the IT systems that underpin these services. This role is designed for full-time, in-office engagement.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Implement, set up, and evaluate server, storage, and networking systems.
2. Configure and assess virtualization environments.
3. Deploy and validate Physical Security (Genetec and Lenel) and AV management software solutions.
4. Assess client needs and incorporate system functionalities to address those requirements.
5. Evaluate system limitations, performance metrics, and workload demands.
6. Optimize configurations to enhance system efficiency.
7. Set up and test standard integrations to facilitate event and control interoperability among subsystems.
8. Create and maintain custom integrations and macros for subsystem interoperability and advanced functionalities.
9. Develop scripts, images, and automation techniques to reduce repetitive tasks and enhance consistency.
10. Oversee, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to the aforementioned infrastructure.
11. Plan and execute software and operating system upgrades.
12. Establish and maintain Method Of Procedures for system upgrades and implementations.
13. Collaborate with other Systems Analysts, Project Managers, Sales, and Engineering teams to design IT infrastructure that supports Physical Security and Audio Video solutions.
14. Assist in sales and design initiatives by specifying IT components and integration strategies.
15. Ensure the successful installation and integration of systems, adhering to timelines and delivering quality solutions.
16. Work closely with Integrated Systems Technicians to guarantee effective system delivery.
17. Provide support and mentorship to Integrated Systems Technicians, fostering their development in IT infrastructure.
18. Cultivate and maintain client relationships, building trust and respect for the organization's capabilities within the industry.
19. Aid the PMO in deployment planning.
20. Prepare and maintain documentation in a professional and efficient manner.
21. Exhibit organization, enthusiasm, and receptiveness to guidance from PTI leadership.

Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in Information Technology, with demonstrated expertise in designing, deploying, and supporting intricate systems.
- Post-secondary education or diploma from a Technology Institute in computing or electronics, or equivalent military training.
- Ability to obtain various levels of security clearance.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting technical information to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects in a dynamic environment.
- Capacity to work independently or collaboratively, with strong interpersonal abilities.
- Willingness to mentor and enhance the technical skills of the organization.
- Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills.

Required Technical Experience:
- Certification and experience with Genetec or Lenel.
- Proficiency in Windows Server, Windows 10/11, and SQL Server.
- Familiarity with VMware, Hyper-V, or other HCI/virtualization platforms.
- Knowledge of IP networking, SD-Wan, and router/switch configurations.
- Understanding of backup, replication, and disaster recovery concepts.
- Proficiency in Powershell and other scripting languages.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity and system hardening practices.
- Certification from a major network provider such as Cisco.
- Certification in Windows Server and SQL Server.

Preferred Technical Experience:
- Familiarity with Physical Security system integration, including CCTV, Access Control, Intercom, Intrusion, or Audio Video management platforms.
- Experience with AWS or Azure cloud computing and networking environments.
- Knowledge of C#, C++, or other modern programming languages.
- Understanding of DevOps and advanced system delivery and support automation.

Physical Demands:
Employees must be able to perform essential functions of the job, which may include standing, climbing, walking, sitting, pushing, pulling, squatting, crawling, and stooping. Regular use of hands for typing and handling objects is required, along with the ability to reach, talk, and hear. Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The use of power tools may be necessary, and employees must occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.

Working Conditions:
Employees may encounter various work environments, including outdoor conditions, job sites, and typical office settings. Exposure to construction equipment may occur, and the noise level is generally moderate. Confined space entry and high work may be required.
