  • Problem Solving in Cloud Environments: Tackle complex technical challenges in public clouds (AWS, Azure/GCP) and private cloud settings, enhancing operational excellence.
  • Strategic Partnership and Improvement: Conduct a thorough analysis of our existing cloud infrastructure and systems architecture. Offer strategic enhancements in network utilization, role management, CDN, domains, and cloud security.
  • Performance Optimization: Evaluate complex distributed production deployments and suggest methods to enhance performance and automate processes, managing continuous integration servers and utilizing monitoring and testing tools.
  • Systematic Automation: Identify opportunities for significant improvements in cloud infrastructure usage, operations, and services through systematic automation.
  • Technical Influence: Provide technical guidance across multiple teams, boosting their productivity and effectiveness through shared knowledge and expertise.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with customers, stakeholders, and lead engineers on critical projects, ensuring effective communication.

About You

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of substantial hands-on experience in cloud platform engineering.
  • System Engineering: 3+ years of practical experience in system engineering, Cloud DevOps, and Cloud SRE.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): 2+ years of proven experience in building and managing infrastructure as code. Proficiency with various Linux distributions.
  • Cloud Systems: 2+ years of experience in constructing high-performance, highly-available, and scalable distributed systems in the cloud.
  • Hybrid Cloud Environments: 3+ years of experience in developing and overseeing high-performance, highly-available, and scalable hybrid cloud environments.
  • Collaboration Skills: Exceptional cross-group collaboration and outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • AWS Certification: Advanced Architecting, Developing on AWS.
  • Automation Skills: Strong experience in automating application stack deployments through IaC using Terraform, Python, or Go.
  • Backend Engineering: 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure and backend engineering.
  • Database Understanding: Solid understanding of databases and application technology stacks operating on cloud platforms.
