About the Role

Cabinetworks Group is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Territory Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and growing sales of our kitchen cabinet products within the Cleveland Territory Home Depot stores.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and Leverage Business Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with store personnel to promote sales and comparative growth.
  • Conduct Regular Store Visits: Visit stores as determined necessary by the Director of Sales to ensure effective sales strategies and provide support to store personnel.
  • Persuade Store Personnel: Educate and persuade store personnel to offer our kitchen cabinet products to their customers.
  • Train and Support Store Personnel: Provide training and support to store personnel on our product offerings, marketing programs, and promotions.
  • Address Product and Service Issues: Proactively address product, warranty, and service issues and communicate resolutions with all parties involved.
  • Maintain Display Presence: Ensure the display presence in showrooms is maintained and updated.
  • Analyze Sales Metrics: Analyze sales metrics and develop tactical and strategic sales plans to meet and exceed sales goals.
  • Review Budget and Account Plan: Review monthly budget and maintain/provide quarterly account business plans.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience: Bachelor's degree or 8 years of selling experience with a minimum of a High School diploma or GED.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Conflict Resolution: Demonstrated successful capability to resolve conflict over sensitive or complex issues.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with external customers.
  • Partnership Building: Demonstrated successful ability to build positive partnerships and work collaboratively with department, cross-functional business teams, and customers.
  • Project Management: Excellent project management and budgeting skills with a deadline orientation and focus.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills, including ability to multi-task and prioritize workload.
  • Problem Solving: Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
  • Independence and Initiative: Ability to function at a high level of effectiveness, flexibility, independence, and initiative without daily interaction with management.
  • Travel: Ability to travel daily within assigned region and quarterly beyond region.
  • Driver's License: Valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • Lifting Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
  • Retail Sales Experience: 5 years of retail sales or business material industry experience.
  • Sales Report Reading: Ability to read and understand sales reports.
  • In-Store Designer Relationships: Ability to build and maintain relationships with in-store designers.
