About the Role

Cox Communications is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Territory Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for selling Cox data, video, home security, and voice services to residential customers in your assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate new leads, sales, and upgrades through door-to-door canvassing, networking, and referrals
  • Develop and maintain relationships with homeowner associations, multi-dwelling unit managers, leasing agents, and other stakeholders
  • Provide solutions to customers by selling Cox products and services, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Work non-traditional hours to maximize customer contact opportunities, including evenings and weekends
  • Occasionally install or disconnect customer telecommunication services, collect payments, and equipment from customers
What We Offer

Cox Communications offers a competitive salary package, including a base salary of $26,300 - $39,500, plus an annual incentive/commission target of $32,496. Additionally, you will have access to benefits such as a 401(k) with company match, quality healthcare and life insurance, performance and recognition rewards, and coverage of travel expenses.

Requirements
  • High school diploma, GED, or relevant work experience
  • Valid state driver's license, good driving record, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance
  • Ability to qualify for certifications and licenses, as required by state and municipal laws, to sell home security
  • Proficient knowledge of and ability to operate a smartphone, iPad, and computer
  • Ability to work outside in all types of weather, walk 1 1/2 or more miles a day, and up and down stairs within your residential territory
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual Spanish
  • BS/BA degree
  • Knowledge of local market with established local contacts
  • 1+ years of outside/field sales/door-to-door or related experience with quota requirements
