Job Summary
The Associate Account Sales Executive creates business relationships and increases incremental revenue to CDK clients through face-to-face sales activities. Works in conjunction with channel partners to grow CDK's share of wallet in existing client base. Achieves annual assigned sales plan, working under guidance of Director of Sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Under guidance provided from Director of Sales, set clear, measurable performance goals to achieve a sales quota:
- Identify new opportunities for our CRM with existing customers currently using our DMS (Dealer Management System)
- Grow and maintain existing accounts
- Generate significant revenue and profit growth utilizing a disciplined and process-oriented approach
- Work with internal teams through the sales and implementation process
Requirements
- At least 1-2 years of demonstrated ability in building and maintaining client relationships in a b2b sales environment
- Automotive retail experience
- Experience using consultative solution selling to align client's business needs with a solution
- Experience in negotiating and closing sales opportunities
- Ability to manage a sales process and provide customer support based on the needs of the client
- 75% travel with overnight travel expected
Preferred Attributes
- Knowledge of CDK CRM software - highly preferred
- Initiative and self-starter
Education/Experience
- Bachelor's Degree, preferred, not required
- Business to business sales experience, preferably 12 months minimum
Compensation
CDK Global is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Compensation packages are based on several factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, certifications, and work location. The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.
