Atrium Staffing Services Ltd. is a reputable and expanding public accounting firm seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Tax Consultant to enhance our vibrant team.

Compensation:

Competitive salary up to $175,000+ with potential bonuses based on experience.

Role Overview:

The Senior Tax Consultant will oversee tax compliance and strategic planning for our diverse clientele, ensuring compliance with GAAP and relevant regulations. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional analytical capabilities, strong communication skills, and a comprehensive understanding of tax legislation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the preparation and evaluation of Federal and State tax filings for a varied client portfolio, including non-profit organizations, educational institutions, and private entities.
  • Execute thorough audits of financial statements to guarantee precise financial reporting.
  • Carry out account reconciliations and necessary journal entries.
  • Offer financial guidance and address accounting discrepancies through effective client communication.
  • Collaborate with senior accountants and team members to refine tax processes and improve client service delivery.
  • Remain informed about changes in tax legislation to ensure compliance and provide clients with the latest advice.
  • Aid in the formulation and execution of tax planning strategies to enhance clients' financial results.
Required Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of experience in tax management, ideally within a public accounting environment.
  • Previous supervisory experience managing teams of 3 or more.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, Excel, and accounting software such as CCH.
  • Strong grasp of GAAP and other pertinent regulatory standards.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.
Educational Background:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is mandatory.
  • A Master's degree in Taxation or a related field is preferred.
  • A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is essential.
