Position Overview

The role involves conducting thorough inspections, operational assessments, and in-process evaluations of specialized systems, including electrical, plumbing, hydraulics, power plant, rigging, controls, and structural components on completed aerospace vehicles during their final manufacturing acceptance, modifications, or maintenance cycles.

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring quality, completeness, functionality, and compliance with specifications.
  • Identifying defects and initiating rework processes as necessary.
  • Reviewing material items for acceptability post-disposition.

Essential Qualifications
Candidates must be flexible to work any shift and possess:

  • Strong understanding of inspection principles.
  • Familiarity with aerospace manufacturing techniques.
  • Experience in oversight and surveillance inspections.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with Engineering, Production, and Corrective Action teams.

Experience Requirements
Applicants should have:

  • A minimum of 6 years in military or general aviation maintenance.
  • At least 4 years of experience as an inspector on a production line.

Educational Background
An Associate's Degree in an Aviation Maintenance Program or equivalent is required.
