Job Summary

Auburn Concrete is seeking a skilled Ready Mix Concrete Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely transporting ready mixed concrete from our batch plant to customer job sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Safety and Maintenance: Ensure the safe operation of your assigned vehicle and perform daily inspections to maintain its condition.
  • Quality Product Delivery: Deliver high-quality ready mixed concrete to customer job sites, adhering to our quality standards.
  • Communication and Documentation: Maintain radio contact with dispatch for scheduling changes and complete necessary paperwork accurately and timely.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including washing down the truck, greasing, and cleaning the mixer drum.
  • Adherence to Safety Protocols: Maintain the highest standard of safety and quality in all aspects of the job, adhering to company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Valid Maine Driver's License (CDL-Class B): Possess a current and valid Maine driver's license with a Class B commercial driver's license.
  • Clean Driving Record: Maintain a satisfactory driving record and pass random drug screens.
  • English Language Proficiency: Possess the ability to speak, understand, read, and write English fluently.
  • Age and Experience: Meet the minimum age requirement of 18 years old with a driving school certificate or 21 years old with two years of driving experience.
