Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Concrete Transportation Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting ready-mixed concrete to various construction sites across the state.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough daily vehicle inspections and maintain accurate records of mileage, hours, and other relevant information.
  • Deliver top-quality concrete products, ensuring proper mixing and chemical additions.
  • Accurately estimate slump values to meet project specifications.
  • Communicate job site details and conditions to the dispatch team.
  • Maintain a clean and well-maintained mixer truck.
  • Load, unload, and secure materials as required.
  • Stay in constant communication with dispatch for scheduling updates.
  • Thoroughly wash down the truck after each delivery to remove excess concrete.
  • Handle all necessary documentation efficiently and accurately.
  • Adhere to the highest safety standards and quality control measures throughout all job aspects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
Qualifications
  • Possess a valid Maine driver's license (CDL-Class B).
  • Maintain a satisfactory driving record and criminal background check.
  • Successfully pass pre-employment and random drug screenings.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in English (speaking, understanding, reading, and writing).
  • Meet the minimum age requirement with a valid driving school certificate and relevant experience.
