Job Title: Program Coordinator - Asian Pacific Student Programs

UC Riverside is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Program Coordinator to join our Asian Pacific Student Programs team. The successful candidate will provide support and development services for UC Riverside's undergraduate community, organize events and activities, and work closely with the Director to achieve program goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the Asian American and Pacific Islander Women's Program, APSP Roundtables, and assist in leadership development activities.
  • Work with the APSP staff to identify student interests, issues, and concerns and develop and implement appropriate programs and activities.
  • Serve as an adviser to various student organizations, including the Asian Pacific Islander Student Advisory Council.
  • Prepare materials for APSP's website and weekly newsletter, and prepare written reports and evaluations on events and activities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and/or equivalent experience/training.
  • 4-7 years of related experience, including demonstrated experience and skill in supervising student assistants.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing educational and leadership programs for students.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated ability and skill in developing and monitoring budgets.
  • Strong knowledge of common University-specific computer application programs and knowledge of University and departmental principles and procedures involved in risk assessment and evaluating risks as to likelihood and consequences.
