About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team at Marriott Charleston Town Center. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for creating and implementing menus that meet the needs of our guests and align with our restaurant's vision and brand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute menus that showcase our culinary expertise and exceed guest expectations
  • Manage food inventory and supplies to ensure seamless kitchen operations
  • Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
  • Train and manage kitchen staff to ensure they adhere to safety and sanitation standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, ensuring all equipment is in good working order

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as an Executive Chef or similar role
  • Proven track record of creating and implementing successful menus
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Culinary degree or equivalent certification
  • Experience working in a fine dining restaurant
  • Experience managing a large kitchen staff
