Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Sterile Processing Tech to join our team at Lourdes Health Network. As a Sterile Processing Tech, you will play a critical role in ensuring the proper cleaning, decontamination, and inspection of all medical supplies, instruments, and equipment used in our facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Properly clean, decontaminate, and inspect all medical supplies, instruments, and equipment
  • Reprocess, assemble, and sterilize medical supplies, instruments, and equipment according to manufacturer's instructions
  • Ensure exceptional interpersonal customer service skills, including a positive attitude, warm demeanor, and respect for patients, families, and colleagues
  • Work effectively in a team environment to meet deadlines and achieve goals
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest techniques and technologies
Requirements
  • Post-high school training and/or specialized education preferred
  • Minimum one year of experience in a Central Processing Department, Surgery Department, or equivalent
  • Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) preferred
  • Bilingual and/or English-Spanish speaking preferred
