YOUR ROLE
As a Logistics Customer Care Agent, you will be instrumental in managing order processing and communication within our operational framework. Serving as the primary liaison for both internal teams and external clients, you will need to exhibit a professional demeanor, coupled with exceptional verbal and written communication skills. A proactive approach to problem-solving is essential. Your typical work schedule will be Monday - Friday, from 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm, with a competitive pay rate.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review records and communicate shipping timelines, potential delays, and necessary information to customers.
- Respond promptly to inquiries via email and troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Input orders into an automated system with precision.
- Organize, verify, and maintain records for accuracy, ensuring proper documentation and reporting.
- Foster an inclusive culture within a diverse workforce, ensuring all associates feel valued and respected.
- Collaborate with various departments and carriers to expedite or trace shipments, compiling relevant statistics and reports.
- Manage the check-in process for drivers, ensuring all documentation is accurate.
- Collect and analyze data to guarantee comprehensive and accurate information.
- Generate and distribute reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide support to other departments as required.
- A minimum of 2 years of customer service experience in a warehouse or distribution setting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Familiarity with AS400 or any Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to produce accurate reports.
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
