Job Summary

The Clinical Support Specialist will provide direct clinical support in the forms of group therapy, assisting with providing individual and family sessions and providing interventions for crisis situations. The Clinical Support Specialist will be working within the Orenda (Concierge Residential) Program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Clinical Director, Clinical Supervisors, and interdisciplinary team to assess clinical needs and provide interventions.
  • Provide clinical support, including individual therapy, family sessions, and group therapy, in alignment with treatment planning goals.
  • Assist with crisis management, including AMA's and behavioral issues, and communicate with Licensed Clinicians, Medical, and RA staff if there is a safety concern.
  • Follow standards in alignment with DCF, JC, and AHCA in regards to policies, procedures, and documentation requirements.
  • Effectively communicate relevant clinical information to the clinical team and interdisciplinary team.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.
  • Demonstrate ability to respond to feedback and supervision from supervisor and peers.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of basic diagnostic criteria for mental health, substance use, suicide risk/self-harm, and major psychiatric disorders.
  • Adhere to Futures of Palm Beach policies and procedures.
  • Maintain appropriate boundaries, attendance, professionalism, and ethical behavior with patients, families, and other professionals.
  • Maintain strict patient confidentiality in accordance with Title 42 CFR, Part 2 and HIPAA and Futures Recovery Healthcare.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
