CYM Living is currently seeking a full-time Business Operations Analyst to join our team. Ideal candidates will be self-motivated, effective communicators, collaborative team members, and capable of thriving in an entrepreneurial setting.

The perfect candidate will possess 1-3 years of experience in business operations or real estate, with significant expertise in developing and executing operational processes utilizing both technical and interpersonal skills to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.

This position aims to enhance CYM's operational performance by utilizing data and insights from staff to drive positive organizational change.

This role will be highly collaborative, engaging with every department within the company, and will require a natural leader who is inclined to ask questions and challenge existing practices.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a diverse audience, including senior leadership, will be essential for success in this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

Analytical

• Monitor weekly trends in operational metrics such as leasing activity, productivity, and workload distribution;

• Develop analytics to inform decision-making using SQL, Excel, and Property Management software;

• Conduct ad hoc projects/analyses to formulate strategic recommendations based on data analysis;

• Evaluate performance against process requirements, aligning improvement initiatives to address performance gaps.

Process Improvement and Development

• Implement new operational strategies to reduce cycle time, enhance efficiency, and boost customer satisfaction;

• Identify opportunities for improvement in business processes and execute solutions;

• Investigate, diagnose, and resolve technical issues both independently and collaboratively;

• Train and support staff at all levels on operational initiatives.

Administrative

• Prepare meeting materials and present to diverse audiences;

• Serve as the primary contact for certain vendor relationships and manage contract negotiations for upper management review;

• Oversee seasonal and ad hoc projects as directed by supervisors;

• Recommend adjustments to work schedules based on business needs and process approved changes;

• Update various software settings and information as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in finance/economics, real estate, entrepreneurship, or a related field required

• Minimum 3.5 GPA

• 1-3 years of experience in business operations, real estate, or data analysis

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office is highly advantageous

• Familiarity with Yardi, SQL, and business intelligence tools (Tableau, Looker, etc.) is a significant plus

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to communicate effectively across all departments and organizational levels

• Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment

• Strong desire to learn and assume responsibility quickly
