Position Title: Operational, Non-Financial Risk Analyst

Duration: 6 month contract + opportunity for extension or conversion
Overview:
The primary responsibility of the Analytics & Insights, Solutions, and Reporting (AISR) business analyst is to engage with Operational Non-Financial Risk (ONFR) stakeholders to articulate and document business requirements for ONFR solutions. These solutions encompass business intelligence visualizations, reports, dashboards, machine learning models, ad-hoc data analysis requests, and formal reporting. Additional duties may involve supporting stakeholders with acceptance test planning, managing the team's solution backlog, and overseeing changes and controls to team solutions. Furthermore:
Responsibilities:
• Collaborates with various ONFR teams throughout the project lifecycle to ensure that solution delivery aligns with business requirements.
• Produces informative, coherent, and usable project artifacts that cover both functional and non-functional business requirements.
• While our primary focus is on ONFR solutions, these solutions may also have a broader, enterprise-wide impact.
Qualifications:
Candidates typically possess between 5 - 7 years of relevant experience along with a post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A deep understanding and technical proficiency gained through extensive education and business experience are essential. Specific skills sought include:
Intermediate level of proficiency:
• Organizational and process optimization
• Business architecture frameworks
• Stakeholder analysis and management
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Collaboration & team skills
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
Advanced level of proficiency:
• Facilitation skills
• Business requirements definition and analysis
• Functional analysis and application functional design
Experience with enterprise risk solutions and/or Power BI solutions is advantageous.
