We are seeking an experienced English Materials Specialist to join our team at Drexel Building Supply. As a team member-owned company, we operate with a strong sense of community and pride in our six retail locations and three manufacturing facilities across Wisconsin. We are committed to delivering exceptional customer service and providing our customers with the best possible products and services.
Job Description
The English Materials Specialist will be responsible for providing quote assistance, performing window quote and takeoff requests, and communicating with account managers to ensure customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be comfortable with computers, and have experience with vendor-specific installation methods, warranties, and service policies.
Responsibilities
• Provide quote assistance to customers
• Perform window quote and takeoff requests from account managers
• Communicate with account managers to ensure customer satisfaction during the quote stage and bid revisions
• Submit window orders using vendor software and create sales tickets for receiving and billing purposes
• Troubleshoot shipping and receiving issues as needed with vendors and dispatch
• Answer customer service phone calls and assist walk-in customers with a smile
• Assist in training and motivating new team members as you grow in your role

Requirements
• 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable with computers and ability to learn new software
• Experience with vendor-specific installation methods, warranties, and service policies
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $75,000 per year based on experience.
