About the Install Leader Role

The Install Leader plays a crucial role in overseeing the recruitment, training, and management of offsite subcontractor crews and Field Specialists. This position involves establishing strong relationships with subcontractors, ensuring compliance with Drexel standards, and providing support for successful offsite installation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pursue qualified subcontractors and develop lasting partnerships
• Conduct plant tours and on-site training sessions to familiarize subcontractors with our standards and expectations
• Evaluate potential subcontractors based on cultural alignment, cleanliness, and adherence to quality standards
• Design and implement comprehensive training programs covering Drexel guidelines, procedures, and best practices
• Provide expert guidance on safety, quality control, and equipment usage
• Assess subcontractor performance quarterly and offer constructive feedback
• Collaborate with subcontractors during pre-construction meetings to discuss project plans and expectations
• Ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment
• Evaluate subcontractor performance against key metrics such as OTIF delivery, quality, and safety
• Address performance deficiencies through training or corrective actions
• Foster strong relationships with subcontractors and gain insight into their business needs
• Identify opportunities for strategic collaboration and growth

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with experience in the construction industry
• Show a proven ability to establish and maintain strong relationships
• Possess excellent organizational and time management skills
• Display a deep understanding of construction industry best practices and standards
• Be capable of effectively training and developing others
