Position Overview:
Join InsurSolv, LLC as a Loss Control/Insurance Field Inspector. This role involves working as an Independent Contractor focused on Insurance Loss Control.

Key Responsibilities:
As an Independent Contractor, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting thorough evaluations of properties, including their physical attributes, external dimensions, overall condition, and identifying potential hazards. Your findings will be compiled into detailed reports that highlight observable risks.
  • Providing essential information that assists client companies in assessing whether a property meets the eligibility criteria set by insurance carriers.
  • Acting as the vital link for insurance underwriters, who rely on your insights while they remain in their offices.

Independent Contractor Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A high-energy approach with the ability to manage a substantial volume of inspections.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with motivation and resourcefulness.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • A self-driven attitude with the capability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational skills to effectively handle a demanding workload and prioritize inspections efficiently.
  • Preferred qualifications include VIITA Certification or experience in construction, plumbing, electrical work, life safety, firefighting, general contracting, or property management.

Successful candidates will need to have:

  • A personal computer running Microsoft Windows 10.
  • Access to web browsers such as Google Chrome, Edge, or Microsoft Internet Explorer 11.
  • Adobe Acrobat Reader installed.
  • A reliable broadband internet connection.
  • A digital camera or smartphone that can connect to your PC.
  • A color inkjet or laser printer.
  • Reliable transportation with valid insurance and a driver's license.
  • Essential tools including a measuring wheel, monopod, and clipboard.
