As a Director of Risk Management, Workers' Compensation, you will be responsible for driving the success and profitability of our organization by developing and implementing effective risk management strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement Risk Management Strategies: Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive risk management strategies to mitigate workers' compensation risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct Risk Assessments and Audits: Conduct thorough risk assessments and audits of workers' compensation programs to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Analyze Claims Data: Analyze and interpret claims data to identify trends, root causes, and areas for potential risk, and develop strategic initiatives to reduce the frequency and severity of claims.
- Prepare Reports and Presentations: Prepare detailed reports and presentations on loss data analysis, risk assessments, and recommendations for risk mitigation and loss control measures.
Requirements:
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in Workers' Compensation Risk Management with a proven track record in a leadership role.
- Knowledge: Advanced knowledge of insurance principles, regulatory requirements, and State and Federal laws and regulations.
- Skills: Strong critical thinking and organizational skills, ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with customers, peers, and industry contacts.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred but not mandatory.
