Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Risk Management Strategies: Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive risk management strategies to mitigate workers' compensation risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct Risk Assessments and Audits: Conduct thorough risk assessments and audits of workers' compensation programs to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Analyze Claims Data: Analyze and interpret claims data to identify trends, root causes, and areas for potential risk, and develop strategic initiatives to reduce the frequency and severity of claims.
  • Prepare Reports and Presentations: Prepare detailed reports and presentations on loss data analysis, risk assessments, and recommendations for risk mitigation and loss control measures.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in Workers' Compensation Risk Management with a proven track record in a leadership role.
  • Knowledge: Advanced knowledge of insurance principles, regulatory requirements, and State and Federal laws and regulations.
  • Skills: Strong critical thinking and organizational skills, ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with customers, peers, and industry contacts.
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred but not mandatory.
