About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Caregiver Specialist to join our team at Interim HealthCare of NEPA. As a Caregiver Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our patients in various facilities throughout Lackawanna County.

Key Responsibilities
  • Care for the Personal Care and Hygiene Needs of patients, including bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, eating, and nutritional intake.
  • Assist with Daily Needs such as ambulation, transfers, and range of motion exercises.
  • Monitor Patient Vitals and document any changes, including checking vital signs, measuring intake/output, and monitoring blood glucose.
  • Observe Patient and Notify Supervisor of any issues requiring a change in care, medication, or equipment.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of Six (6) Months Caregiving Experience
  • CPR Certification, First Aid Certification
  • Knowledge of State and Federal Healthcare Laws and Regulations
  • Compassionate Nature, Good Communicator, and Ability to Lift Up to 50 Lbs.
