Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Caregiver Specialist to join our team at Beacon Specialized Living. As a Caregiver Specialist, you will work with individuals with intellectual disabilities, providing support with daily personal tasks, cooking meals, and doing laundry.

Key Responsibilities

Assist residents with daily personal tasks, including toileting, bathing, brushing teeth, and dressing

Complete housekeeping tasks such as vacuuming, washing dishes, and tidying

Transport residents to medical appointments as needed

Shop for groceries and prepare meals that meet specific resident dietary needs

Encourage resident engagement in social activities

Qualifications

This is an entry-level position, and no previous experience in this field is required

Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED

Must be at least 19 years of age and have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
