Position Summary: The Warranty Administrator is responsible for managing warranty documentation, reconciling claims, and ensuring compliance with company policies and manufacturer guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process warranty claims in alignment with manufacturer standards.
  • Verify eligibility criteria as stipulated by manufacturers or distributors.
  • Record and post credits received for warranty claims.
  • Prepare Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) documentation.
  • Manage warranty parts for scrapping or refunds per manufacturer guidelines.
  • Follow up on outstanding claims with manufacturers and distributors.
  • Maintain organized records and files for warranty documentation.
  • Ensure CSI scores meet or exceed company benchmarks.
  • Keep a tidy, organized, and safe workspace.
  • Engage in mandatory training sessions.
  • Accurately log hours worked in the company timekeeping system.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
  • Exhibit the company's core values in daily operations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education Requirements:

  • High School Diploma (required)

Experience:

Prior experience in office administration, accounting, or a related field is preferred. Familiarity with automotive parts and warranty processing is advantageous.

Skills:

  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to learn and navigate warranty claim software.
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
  • Ability to understand and follow detailed instructions.

Attendance Expectations:

This position requires consistent attendance, with shifts potentially including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical and Environmental Demands:

Work is primarily conducted in an office environment, involving frequent clerical tasks and customer interactions. Employees may encounter various service and repair conditions throughout the facility.
