Position Overview

The Senior Analyst will play a pivotal role in the administration and operational support of the Veeva CRM system within the IT department. This role involves close collaboration with various sales and marketing teams to enhance existing CRM functionalities and identify new opportunities. The primary focus will be on supporting our Omnichannel Marketing initiatives through various CRM capabilities, including Suggestions, Next Best Action, Integrated Scheduling, CLM, and Rep Triggered Emails.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Business Analysis: Assess sales and marketing requirements and convert them into functional specifications for Veeva CRM. Engage with stakeholders to gather and document business objectives and processes related to the Omnichannel Marketing Team and other sales functions.
  2. Implementation: Identify process improvement opportunities and propose solutions to enhance Veeva CRM and Omnichannel Marketing effectiveness. Provide technical expertise in Veeva CRM configuration, perform data analysis, and oversee configuration deliverables. Conduct user acceptance testing and offer training and support to end users. Collaborate with internal IT data teams and vendors to understand data integrations and API requirements.
  3. Documentation: Create and maintain system-related documentation, including configurations, data flow processes, test scripts, and training materials. Ensure document integrity and version control using SharePoint and other M365 tools.
  4. Ongoing Support: Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of Veeva CRM and Omnichannel Marketing best practices. Oversee system administration of Veeva CRM, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data integrity and system performance. Stay informed about industry trends and advancements, providing recommendations for system enhancements and upgrades.
  5. Collaboration: Participate in customer-facing meetings to communicate standards and provide guidance on technology solutions in CRM. Work with external vendors and internal IT teams to ensure successful integration of Veeva CRM with other systems and applications.

Qualifications

Successful candidates will meet the following qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in administering, configuring, and supporting Veeva CRM and its modules.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of pharmaceutical and life sciences industry processes and regulations is preferred.
  • Skills: Proficiency in business analysis, process mapping, and functional requirements gathering. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for effective collaboration.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certifications: Veeva CRM or Veeva Vault certifications are preferred.
  • ITIL Knowledge: Familiarity with ITIL processes and Service Management principles is advantageous.

Travel Requirements

Willingness to travel up to 5% for industry events and company-sponsored activities.
