About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Med Surg Float Pool Nurse to join our team at Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience in med/surg, with a strong focus on patient care and teamwork. As a Clinical Med Surg Float Pool Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in various med/surg areas, including floating between units as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective care plans.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain expertise in med/surg care.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required.
  • Current licensure in Massachusetts as a registered nurse is required.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in med/surg is required.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
