Job Title: Clinical Educator

At Vynca, we're seeking a highly skilled Clinical Educator to join our Quality and Education team. As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in developing, coordinating, and delivering educational initiatives across various care delivery models.

Job Summary

The Clinical Educator will be responsible for designing, delivering, and assessing learning activities and curricula related to clinical competencies, departmental/organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and the use of clinical information technologies. This role will also involve serving as a consultant/mentor for clinical staff in areas of program development, clinical practice, and professional development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement educational initiatives to enhance clinical staff competencies and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with managers and staff to assess learning needs and competencies of clinical staff.
  • Design and deliver new clinical staff orientation and education activities.
  • Provide consultation and mentorship to clinical staff on program development, clinical practice, and professional development.
  • Utilize data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and track the effectiveness of education interventions.
Requirements
  • Active California Registered Nurse license.
  • Five years of experience in nursing required.
  • Two years of staff development, academic teaching, and/or project development coordination.
  • Excellent critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Strong understanding of clinical practices, quality improvement methodologies, and educational program development.
  • Excellent oral and written communication, and interpersonal skills required.
  • General computer skills and working knowledge of Google Suite.
Preferred Qualifications
  • CHPN certification or equivalent.
  • One year experience in hospice or palliative care.
