Clinical Operations Manager

Job Summary:We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Operations Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the oversight, implementation, execution, and communication of clinical research studies and operations, with minimal supervision and great attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the operations of clinical trials, including study management, vendor oversight, and site management.
- Develop and implement study-related documents and plans, including project management plans, vendor oversight plans, and monitoring plans.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including global CROs, central laboratories, and data managers.
- Ensure the successful conduct of clinical trials, including timely completion, within budget, and to quality standards.
- Mentor and train Clinical Trial Assistants and other staff members.
- Assist in the hiring process for clinical operations roles and support the onboarding process for new hires.
- Identify system enhancements necessary for improved tracking, education, and follow-up activities and coordinate the development with the company's clinical operations staff.
- Minimum of 3 years of related experience at a biotechnology/pharmaceutical company and/or CRO.
- Experience either working at a CRO or overseeing CROs is preferred.
- Strong operational and management skills.
- Self-motivation, flexibility, ability to establish and manage multiple priorities, and multi-task effectively to meet stated internal and external commitments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong professional presentation skills.
- Strong knowledge of the drug development process (domestic and international) is required.
- Knowledge in oncology or rare disease trial execution is a plus.
Bachelor of Science degree in a scientific discipline from an accredited college or university is strongly preferred. Other bachelor's degrees with relevant industry experience will be considered.
Compensation:$110,000 - 150,000 annually + benefits package and annual performance bonus (Includes: health insurance, 401k retirement plan, and paid days off)
