About the Role

The Operations Accelerated Development Program is a unique opportunity for individuals to develop their skills and knowledge in operations management. As a participant in this program, you will be matched with one of our manufacturing or distribution facilities and will have the chance to work with a diverse team of professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Operations Manager in planning daily work schedules and implementing continuous improvement projects.
  • Participate in six sigma training and support site safety programs.
  • Understand and work with the filling department and filling supervision needs.
  • Maintenance and engineering of site equipment and operating procedures.
  • Understand inventory, routing, and shipping procedures.
  • Human resources exposure: coordinate and plan employee training, development, performance management, and corrective actions.
  • Supervision of Site Operating teams.
  • Exposure to timekeeping and production control systems.
Requirements
  • Must have a bachelor's degree by the time of this development program.
  • Must have a minimum overall GPA of 2.8.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future.
  • Must have experience with Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Must be willing to relocate for this position and upon completion of the program.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Have a bachelor's degree or higher in Operations, Supply Chain, and Engineering or related field.
  • Have a previous Co-Op/Internship experience within Sherwin Williams.
  • Have a previous Internship, Co-op or work experience in a related field.
  • Have previous experience working in a team-oriented setting including work experience, extracurricular activities, military service, etc.
  • Have experience with continuous improvement tools such as Six Sigma, 5-S, Lean Manufacturing, etc.
