We are committed to enhancing supplier management through effective communication, discipline, and accountability, ensuring that our clients meet their operational commitments and revenue goals.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and nurture collaborative relationships with assigned suppliers to fulfill customer requirements.
- Oversee the supplier's Open Order Report, working closely with them to mitigate risks and identify delivery improvement opportunities.
- Address issues with sub-tier suppliers to enhance communication and set realistic production targets.
- Encourage interdepartmental communication to avert unnecessary delays.
- Provide regular updates on critical components and overall delivery performance.
- Monitor delivery performance trends, initiating root cause analyses and corrective measures as needed.
- Local travel is a requirement for this position.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- A college degree is preferred; however, extensive experience may substitute for formal education.
- A minimum of five years of experience in manufacturing is required, with a preference for experience in the Aerospace and Defense sectors.
- Must hold a valid driver's license and pass a pre-employment motor vehicle history check.
- Strong knowledge of Supply Chain Management, Production Control, and Shop Floor Management is essential.
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies, Lean Manufacturing, Risk Management, Six Sigma, and Kaizen is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills are required.
- Professionalism, integrity, and a keen attention to detail are crucial.
- Strong independent decision-making abilities and analytical skills are necessary.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required.
- Experience with electronics commodities is preferred.
