Job Title: Partner Abuse Intervention Program Facilitator

The Salvation Army USA Central Territory is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Partner Abuse Intervention Program Facilitator to join our team. As a key member of our social services department, you will play a vital role in providing critical support to individuals affected by domestic violence.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and empathetic professional to facilitate our Partner Abuse Intervention Program. The successful candidate will work closely with clients, community partners, and internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality services and promote a culture of safety and respect.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide partner abuse intervention program services to clients, adhering to agency policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain collaborative partnerships with other Salvation Army units and community partners to achieve integrated mission objectives.
  • Conduct direct treatment and case management, including group facilitation and individual support.
  • Collaborate with program staff, corps officers, and social services to ensure effective delivery of quality services.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in domestic violence intervention and social work.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Completed 40-hour domestic violence training or plan for completion.
  • Completed 20-hour partner abuse intervention training or plan for completion.
  • Previous experience in domestic violence work preferred.
Competencies:
  • Knowledge of program components and organizational concepts.
  • Understanding of the mission of The Salvation Army and its programs and services.
  • Developing knowledge of the domestic violence field, including work with victims and perpetrators.
  • Ability to maintain and project a problem-solving approach with participants and interagency personnel.
  • Interpersonal style that promotes collaborative working relationships.
Work Environment:

This position requires light physical work and the ability to work in an office environment with a low noise level. The successful candidate will be willing to perform off-site activities, including home visits and travel to locations related to the work objectives of the position.
